New Year’s Eve Menu


As you say goodbye to 2013 and welcome 2014, join us for a once in a year dining experience as we roll out our ‘Final Feast’ menu!  On New Years Eve, we are giving the pub classics the night off and offering an extraordinary menu featuring everything from decadent caviar topped deviled eggs to roasted suckling pig to grilled lobster.  This will truly prove to be a celebration fit for kings as our a la carte menu lends itself to ordering a little or a lot and sharing with friends and family.  Ring in the New Year with us by eating, drinking, and being merry.

 The Beginning

Poached Jumbo Prawns- curry cocktail sauce

Roysters- tasso ham, horseradish greens, cornbread

Porchetta di Testa- pig head, mustard, grilled bread

Coal roasted olives- orange, chili, thyme

Pig Pasty- confit pork, bacon, white beans, herbs

Diablos- farm egg, roasted garlic, caviar, pickles

Bavarian pretzel- sea salt, rarebit

Fois Gras- spiced tourchon, apple chutney, brioche

Earth (to accompany fire)

Charred beets, goat cheese, walnut bitter cress

Baby carrots, turnips, vaudevaun curry, yogurt

Roasted brussel sprouts, lemon, sage, browned butter

Winter squash gratin, maple, peppitas, pumpernickle

Nappa cabbage, ham hock, basmati rice, chicken liver

Crispy potato triad, roasemary, smoked lard

Winter greens, shaved raddish, housemade feta, champagne vinaigrette

Ale braised lamb shank-sorghum glaze

Smoked game hens-black truffle forestiere
