Some words from our proprietor:
As an avid climber who has spent time in Nepal, I’m heartbroken by the recent earthquake and devastation it has caused. In response to the crises, Dressel’s will be donating 100% of our food sales next Wed, May 6th, to the following active charity:
http://www.alexlowe.org/p/earthquake-relief   The Alex Lowe foundation has very strong ties with the Sherpa mountain communities in the Khumbu of Nepal and I’m confident the money will be well spent with the minimal amount of administrative overheads. While I recognize the need for relief to all parts of the country, especially Kathmandu, I feel the strongest connection to the rural communities which, will no doubt, have the hardest time receiving sustained aid.
Please dine with us next Wednesday to support this effort. We will have several regionally inspired dishes on the special board, but would just encourage anyone thinking about visitingthe pub next week to stop by on Wednesday. Your dinner will go for a very good cause. The Nepalese are some of the most generous, kind and hospitable people i’ve ever met and I would be very grateful to all those who support us next week in this effort.
